Activity Description Sponsor Meeting Times
Gamer’s Club Gamers club will feature many activities such as Super Mario Tournaments, Mario Kart, Prodigy, and Super Smash Brothers.  Students can come and play card games such as Pokemon, building social connections and a community of gamers where we can meet safely and play games together.  All games will be restricted to PG and while students can bring their own systems, all content will be approved to be played by Ms. Garcia. National Jr. Honor Society The National Junior Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding middle level students. NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.  Christy Woodson & Dolly Thomas We will meet once a month during lunch time.
Leadership We plan spirit weeks, fundraisers, teacher appreciation activities, and service projects. Being part of Leadership helps get students ready for Student Council in high school.  Tanya Brawn Friday’s from 2:40-4:00. 
Video/Film Club We will be watching a variety of short films, skits and some full-length films. Michael T. Johnson Mondays and Thursdays. 2:40 to 3:30-3:45 depending on what we will be watching.
Science Olympiad Students will compete against other schools by building projects, taking tests, and solving scenarios dealing with science topics. Mark Fuller Monday – Thursday 2:35 – 4:00
TSA (Technology Student Association) TSA is a Student organization dedicated to encouraging student to enter STEM related careers. Student enter contest where they design and create STEM projects and compete against other schools. Competitions range from Bridge design, Robotics, Speech Contests, Leadership contest where student come up with innovated ideas to solve real world problems using technology. Students are also given the opportunity to develop into future leaders. Rob Ezzell TSA meeting will be the second Tuesday of the Month. Start time is 2:40 to 3:40. Once contests start in January we will meet more often. 
Art Club Art Club meets once a month and does various art activities. We will go on field trips and have a pizza party each semester. It is $7.00 to join, which can be paid out or paid in full. Cynthia Gaither
Dance Club Dance club/team is a place for both boys and girls to work together in a routine that will be performed at assemblies throughout the year. We usually do hip-hop routines, but I would like to do jazz and contemporary routines later in the year. Denise Starnes Tuesday and Thursday from 2:45 to 3:45 in room 120 in the 6th grade building.
Pickleball Pickleball is like ping pong and tennis all in one. Played on a court with a net, paddles and a plastic whiffle ball. Kim Sindelar Springtime dates TBD
